The last episode ended the first arc of the manga, while leading back to the first episode, which is the second story arc of the manga.
Shame I read a little to much into it since I loved the feeling of ambiguity that was left behind.
Well done on the picture. Forever to the man without a dream, because the distractions in life return something to him that is much more worthwhile. Or is that man mistaken?
